An Exquisite piece of Nipponware dating to around 1911. It is as vibrant in colour today as when made. A true item of the highest quality, and obvious why Nippon and later made Noritake are so sought after.
The bowl is twin handled with gilding around the rim and on the face of the bowl raised in a moriage style with handpainting between. The gilding on the handles goes all the way to the base ring.
The Bowl has a diameter of around 14cm. There is slight wear to the gilding on the handles, and an internal hairline crack on one side, which hasn't broken the glaze on the inside our outside, and is easily missable. These slight flaws do not detract from what is an old and very lovely item.
This is the last time this appears on e-bay, it will go to a local auction. There have been many watchers for this item, so if someone is really interested, then this may be your last opportunity (unless you hang out in the same auctions as me..:)
