A wonderful handmade and handpainted Portugese Jug. Decorated in bright colours and portraying a wading bird and foliage. The trim is in traditional style, with intricate design work. This piece has some age to it and probably dates to 1940's, it is in great condition with only a small amount of crazing its only flaw.
The base markings are for Bricol arte, and I think Jambal beneath. It measures 12cm tall with a maximum diameter of 7cm. This is a really lovely piece of traditional art pottery.
