A super cheese set by Portland Cobridge, in the blue ribbon pattern, with gilt rim. This lot consists of 4 square side plates, a cheese plate and cover and a long sandwich plate.
Side Plates - The is minor wear to the gilt rim and a small amount of crazing, they measure 16cm across.
Cheese Plate - a tiny amount of crazing, again minor wear to outer rim, it measures 21cm long and 16.75cm wide, the cover measures 15cm long, 11cm wide with a maximum height of 10cm to the handle.
Sandwich Plate - it has 4 nibbles around the rim, with similar pattern wear and some minor crazing. It measures 31cm long and 15.75cm wide.
This is a lovely part set, from an excellent maker, yes there is some minor faults, but, this does not detract from a lovely period set.
