Japanese Kutani Part Tea Set, heavy porcelain decorated with geisha and river end pattern, in a combination of printed and handpainted design. The group and this lot consists of:-
3 cups, some pattern wear, no chips or cracks, each measure 9.75cm in diameter and height of 5cm.
5 saucers :- 2 x clean saucers, 3 have chips on face rims, there is some minor pattern wear, they have a diameter of 14.5cm.
1 x Side some pattern wear, but no chips, cracks. It has a diameter of 15.5cm.
A Teapot , there are 3 rim chips to the lid, some minor pattern wear and glaze loss. It measures 20cm handle to spout, 12cm maximum diameter and 14cm tall.
Milk Jug No chips, cracks or repairs. It has a faux bamboo handle and 'Japan' base marks. It measures 9cm in diameter and 11.5cm tall.
Lidded 2 Handled sugar bowl, with a finial lid, some pattern wear and faux bamboo handles, measures about 12cm.
This group was produced somewhere between 1920-1930, and although not complete, it is a nice group.
