Japanese Bronze circular lidded box with copper relief decoration cemented. The images are of grapes, floral and urns, there is a small dent on the base as shown, and a missing piece on the lid, maybe a butterfly. I am not an expert in metalwork and I have not tried to clean the box. The lid has a lacquered effect, whilst the sides are polished. Dating from around 1900-10, late Meiji period. The box measures 5cm in diameter and 3cm tall.
