Japanese Arita plate in a chrysanthamum form classic Imari colours, cobalt blue, burnt orange and green. The decoration is a little unusual, not the normal panelled decoration. This plate has a Pagoda and garden at its centre. Dating to between 1850-1890. Probably towards the latter end, into the Meiji period 1868-1912.
There is some damage to the lip of the plate as shown, and a couple of minor nibbles also, these can be seen as well. The general look of the plate is good. It measures 21.25cm in diameter.
