A highly decorative temple vase, printed decoration and made probably in Japan, although it could quite easily be made in India or Thailand. It is a very colourful item, decorated with a court scene and scroll patterns, which, incorporate birds and flowers. It is in good condition, there is a very fine hairline from the rim to the neck, this is not easily seen and certainly doesn't detract from the visual impact of the piece. I do not know the base mark, so cannot give a date, other than mid to late 20th Century.
It is 32cm tall with a maximum diameter of 14cm.
