A lovely French Gerard GDA Limoges pink cabbage rose & gilt bon bon tray, with super relief moulding on both handles. There is some minor pattern wear on the gilt and a tiny nibble on the underside (not visible from the top), none of this detracts from the overall look of the piece.
The mark GDA were the initials of the founders of the company Gerard, Dufausseix and Abbott. A name change 9n 1901 following the death of Dufaisseix lead to the backstamp porcelaines, GDA by Gerard and Abbott.
I believe this is dated around the turn of the century. It measures 17.5cm long and 9.5cm wide. A really beautiful and high quality item.
