A super provincial Chinese underglazed blue and white scallop rimmed porcelain bowl. Dating probably to the 19th Century. Charming decoration of figures in various poses walking through the forest. Although not marked on the base, the evidence supports the age of this bowl, it has a high base rim, there are glaze imperfections, the use of underglaze blue (flow blue as we know it) which, leads to that smudging effect. It is a lovely piece with no chips, cracks or repairs.
It measures 7.5cm tall with a diameter of 16cm. A lovely and practical item..:)
