Super quaint Japanese gilt and serated edged plate with pierced shamrock decoration. A charming rustic garden scene. With the message 'Kissin don't last, good cookin do'. A good piece of social history..:)
Dating around 1950 made for export to Ireland, the backstamp suggests this as Made in Japan is also written in Gaelic (An Tseapain tir a dheanta). Some very slight pattern wear, otherwise in excellent condition. Measuring 15.75cm in diameter.
