A super piece of Poutneys Bristol pottery wear produced in around 1960, this pattern is a reproduction of an earlier Bristol Pottery transfer print C1830 from the Bristol views series. The fact this is a reproduction, does not detract from its lovely visual impact.
This bowl is in excellent condition, entitled Stoke House (slight wear on the name), it has gadrooned edging and a lovely blue and white transfer print of the subject. It is in excellent condition, without any crazing, chips or cracks. It measures 20cm in diameter with a height of 2.5cm. It would make a lovely display piece to fit in with any blue and white collection.
