Wonderful small Alfred Meakin, Tunstall Staff display plate hand painted in the classic Bengal (Indian) Tree pattern. The backstamp was used from 1937, this plate dates to around 1940 and is as vibrant today as when made. The shape as the backstamp suggests is Medina and the plate measures on 12cm, so doesn't take up too much room.
